A Scene Break Character is a keyboard character or group of characters that you’ve input in your manuscript between scenes in chapters with multiple scenes.
If you already have a scene break character in your manuscript, you can use that. If not, choose a scene break character that is unique in your manuscript and enter it between scenes. Do not use a scene break character at the end of a chapter or in chapters that only have one scene.
Fictionary supports importing Microsoft Word .docx files. If you write in Scrivener, like Kristina does, you can compile your manuscript as .docx and then import into Fictionary.
Fictionary works when used from a laptop or desktop. We are going to make some of the features usable on phones and tablets at a later date.
Fictionary works on Safari and Google Chrome (for Macs and PCs).
Yes you can, but your subscription will last until the end of your billing period so keep going!

Yes, you can edit up to 3 manuscripts at the same time with the Fictionary Bookshelf!
You’ll get the most value from Fictionary once you have a first draft of your novel. 25,000 words or more is a great time to start using Fictionary!
Fictionary helps you improve your story with a deep focus on Characters, Plot, and Settings. You can work on word choice, style, and grammar after using Fictionary's magic on your story. As a bonus, you can use the ProWritingAid and Grammarly Chrome extensions inside the Fictionary web app.
You sure can! You can also export your edited manuscript back to a Word .docx file.
Fictionary cannot import a password protected manuscript. Remove the password and reimport the manuscript.
If your free trial ended, just log back into Fictionary and add a credit card to your account under the Manage Subscription link.

There are two reasons.
1. If it never drew, there are not enough scenes or the word count it too low.
2. If it did draw previously and stopped drawing, this means not all 5 key scenes are set on the evaluate page.

StoryTeller is for fiction writers who a written a draft novel and are ready to revise it.
StoryCoach is for professional fiction editors who are performing a structural edit on a client's manuscript.
You can add a coupon code after you have started a free trial. Even if you have a coupon code, you still get a free trial. As long as you enter the coupon code and your credit card information before the trial ends, the coupon will be valid.
The first step is the click Manage Subscription in the user icon drop-down menu.
Next, add the coupon code on the top right of the screen. Then choose Annual or Monthly. This will take you to screen where you can enter your credit information. That’s it. Easy peasy ?
Yes. Click Write A New Novel on the My Bookshelf page.
In StoryTeller you can export your manuscript and notes that are in the Notes panel.
In StoryCoach, you can export the notes in the Notes panel. Please note that manuscripts with track changes and comments cannot be exported.
Hover over Overview on the top menu and click My Bookshelf.
On My Bookshelf, click the garbage can beside the manuscript you want to delete.
Note: if there is only one manuscript on the bookshelf, it cannot be deleted. A new manuscript can be imported to replace that manuscript on the Overview page.
